The idea to this piece was to make a war machine. The kinda of thing you could take into the battle and just own all! A tank maybe? From here i would like to take a few renders and paint over them in photoshop to create a scene.
Yep I like cool war robots too. Looking good - am intrigued to see what you have in mind for the render/paintover.
If I'm going to be critical I'd say the legs should really be modelled so you could imagine them working and stomping about (i.e. with some kind of hip/knee/ankle joints etc)
